Materials needed

  • A strainer
  • A bowl

Ingredients needed

  • 1 medium sized beetroot
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 inch of ginger
  • 3 teaspoons of jaggery

How to make beet juice at home

  1. Take a medium sized beetroot and peel its outer skin and chop it into small pieces

2. Remove the outer peel of the ginger and chop it into pieces

3. Add the chopped beetroot pieces, ginger and 3 teaspoons of jaggery. You can add more jaggery if you want. Also, add 1 cup of water in your blender.

4. Blend it well. Once its blended well, use a strainer to strain the liquid.

5. The juice you get is a bit concentrated. You can can add the beetroot pulp to the blender again and blend it with another cup of water. Add it to the first strained liquid. You will get a less concentrated juice.

6. Transfer it to a your glass and enjoy your beetroot juice.
