Rooting hormones are used to stimulate root growth on plant cuttings. They prevent fungal and bacterial infection on the plant while promoting root growth on the plant cutting. They can be used for plants that can be propagated by cuttings such as woody shrubs, herbaceous plants and trees.
There are commercial rooting hormones and natural rooting hormones.
Aloe vera gel is a natural rooting hormone that can be used on your plants.
How to use aloe vera as a rooting hormone for your plants.
Take a fresh aloe vera leaf scrape off the outer layer and scoop out the gel.

Next, add this gel to a blender add some water and mix it. Transfer the gel to a small bowl.

Take a few stem cuttings and dip them in the gel.

Next, take a pot and fill it with a mix of soil and sand

- Dig a small hole and insert the stem cuttings without disturbing the aloe vera in the bottom. Now gently water

The cuttings will start to root within 30 days when they are kept in the right conditions. Keep the pots in the shade away from sunlight. Water the soil when it becomes dry.
