How to make rava kesari
Rava kesari is known to have originated in the South Indian states. It is a popular dessert made for special events, and festivals. This dessert is quick to make and can be the perfect go to recipe when you want to eat something sweet. Rava or sooji is used for making this dessert. Rava cooks soon and once the dessert is made, its toped with nuts, raisins and cardamom.

Ingredients needed
1 cup of rava
2 cups of water
1 and a half cup of sugar
15 cashews of sugar
2 tablespoons of ghee
How to make rava kesari
- Take a frying pan and add 1/2 table spoon of ghee. Then add your cashewnuts and deep fry them until they turn golden brown. You can also add raisins and cardamom if you want.

2. After deep frying them. Remove them from the frying pan and set it aside.
3. Next add 1 cup of rava and roast it for 2 minutes in low flame.
